The City of Meridian could be getting a second In-N-Out location, this time on the north side of town.
Since opening in December, lines have remained steady at the California-based fast-food chain at The Village at Meridian.
However, the crowds could lighten if a planned second location near the corner of Ten Mile Rd. and Chinden Blvd. comes to fruition.
The preliminary plans show an about 3,860 square foot In-N-Out on a vacant parcel near Costco with a future address listed as 5985 N Ten Mile Rd.
The site plan shows 84 indoor seats, 34 outdoor seats, and a large space for drive-through lines and parking.

These plans are in the early stages and will still need to earn approval from the City of Meridian before anything can move forward. A hearing date has not yet been set.
